This is true with adult and mainstream scenes. The chemistry has to be there. If there’s chemistry, the spark between two people on camera, it shows, and you our audience know that, you can sense it.
Whether you’re acting in a dialogue scene or making love on camera, you’ve got to have that energy flowing between you and the person you’re on camera with.
A great scene, is a scene that captures that.
And when we do that successfully, then we’ve done a good job at work.
Sometimes it’s not there, and you can’t force it. That’s why some scenes work and others don’t.
That’s the same for real life as well off camera, right?
But, I’ve been lucky “knock on wood” to have a majority of scenes that deliver with the right chemistry.
